Recipe for Easy To Mix vegan organic gyros:

1. Thoroughly mix 125 g of the ready mix with 100 ml of very cold water and a tablespoon of cooking oil (approx. 10 g).

2. Let the mixture rest in the fridge for approx. 10 minutes.

3. Then knead the mixture again. Then moisten your hands a little. Tear small pieces out of the mixture and flatten with your hands.

4. Then fry in a non-stick pan with a little cooking oil for 4-5 minutes on all sides over a medium heat.

5. Tip: The longer the gyros are fried, the crispier they will be.

Gyros for mixing yourself need a certain structure in order to get a gyros-like end product from the powder. To get the structure and bite that gyros have, wheat had to be used. However, we are already working on a new variant that is supposed to work on a pea basis.

The gyro contains oregano, thyme, onions, pepper and garlic, as well as rosemary. The spices come through strongly in this substitute product, which makes the vegan gyros particularly authentic.

Since the vegan gyros is wheat-based, it is unfortunately not free of allergens. However, it is free of soy and lactose.
