Mandu are often dumplings filled with minced meat that come from Korean cuisine. Of course we veganized them for you with our Easy To Mix Hackš. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, these spicy Korean mandu are perfect for an Asian cooking evening.
Ingredients
For about 25-30 pieces || Enjoy in about 60 minutes
You:
- 1 pack of Easy To Mix Hack
- 1 package dumpling dough (thawed)
- 2cm ginger (peeled)
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tsp sugar
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 bunch of chives
- Some cooking oil
- 4 tsp rice flour
- 200ml water
- 6 tsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp Chinkiang Black Rice Vinegar (alternatively vinegar)
- Fresh chili pepper, if desired
- Fresh coriander (chopped), if desired

preparation
- Peel and chop the ginger and garlic.
- Wash the chives and cut them very finely.
- Mix the dry Easy To Mix Hack powder with ginger, garlic, chives and the remaining ingredients for the mandu.
- Add water and mix thoroughly. Then cool.
- After the cooling time, fill the mandu: Place about a full teaspoon of prepared mixture in the middle of the dumpling dough and shape it into a fan shape as desired, for example.
- Fry the mandu in a coated pan with a little cooking oil on a low to medium heat with the lid closed.
- Meanwhile, mix rice flour with water and add to the dumplings in the pan.
- Cover the pan with a lid and let the dumplings cook for about 5-6 minutes.
- Remove the lid from the pan and continue frying until the liquid has evaporated and a crispy crust forms.
- Serve & enjoy with dipping sauce!
