Die beste vegane Bratwurst, die ich kenne. Toll ist, dass man das Ganze nach Belieben aufpeppen kann. Zwiebel, Senf, Gewürze, zu kleinen Kugeln geformt, da geht ganz viel. Mega.

Preparing the vegan bratwursts is so easy:

1. Thoroughly mix 125 g of the ready-made bratwurst mix with 250 ml of very cold water and 2.5 tablespoons of cooking oil (approx. 25 g), then let it rest for about 3 minutes.

2. With moistened hands, first roll the mixture into balls and then roll them into approx. 1.5 cm thin sausages.
Work on a firm surface to roll out evenly.

3. Place the sausages in boiling water for a maximum of 30 seconds. Then pour off the water.

4. Then fry the sausages over low to medium heat on the grill or in the non-stick pan until the desired degree of browning.
Grease the grill grate or pan with a little cooking oil.

It is important to use water that is as cold as possible, as the methyl cellulose it contains only dissolves at very low temperatures. It ensures that our products maintain their meat-like consistency and the necessary firmness.
In principle, our bratwurst can be grilled very well, but we recommend using a grill mat on a conventional grill so that the bratwurst doesn't stick to the grate. Of course, this is not possible with a contact grill. Since the bratwurst sticks mainly due to the quick frying at high temperatures, we would advise you to first fry it in the pan at low heat and then place it in the grill. You can achieve better firmness by using particularly cold water to mix and letting the mixture soak in the freezer for a sufficient amount of time. Then there should be no risk of the bratwurst falling apart :)
