Ketchup is the classic for burgers with fries. Whether on the burger or as a dip for the fries - ketchup always works. Not just for burgers, but also as a vegan dip for grilling, for example. For about 100 g of ketchup you need:
  • 40 g tomato paste
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 15-20 ml vinegar
  • 1 dash of oil
  • Salt pepper
  • 1 pinch of cane sugar
Preparation:
  • Peel onions and cut them into fine pieces.
  • Wash tomatoes and cut into small pieces.
  • Roast half of the tomato paste in a pan, then add the onion and tomatoes. Let simmer for three minutes. Then puree the mixture.
  • Mix the remaining tomato paste with the vinegar and cornstarch and add it to the pan.
  • Now mix all the ingredients and simmer again for 5-10 minutes. Season with salt, pepper and sugar.

Homemade vegan mayonaise

The counterpart to ketchup is of course mayo. Here we have a vegan mayo recipe for you that can be prepared in no time. The mayo only tastes good with the burger, but is also a totally delicious vegan dip. For about 100 g you just have to mix the following ingredients together (just add the oil little by little):
  • 30 g sunflower seeds
  • 30-50 ml Easy To Shake Organic Oat Drink
  • 100-120 ml rapeseed oil
  • ½ tbsp mustard
  • 1 squeeze of lemon
  • Salt pepper
